The Group
We’re a friendly and sociable group of people, from all walks of life,
who all have one thing in common – a love of walking.
We walk almost every weekend of the year, some Thursday mornings and, in
the summer, on some weekday evenings.
We always welcome newcomers to come any try our walks and only ask that
you wear suitable footwear and clothing and don't mind getting wet or
muddy. We walk in the sun, wind, rain and snow and say there’s no such
thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes. (Bobble hats need not be
worn!)

The Local View
The South Cheshire Group
runs a varied and exciting programme of walks, and
lobbies Local Authorities about footpaths and other rights of way. We
are also consulted on countryside issues
especially concerning the implications of planning applications on these
rights of way. Find out
how you can help your local group.
