Welcome to South Cheshire Ramblers

We are a local group of the Ramblers' Association which is dedicated to protecting footpaths and rights of way to which the public has access. We are one of the 3 groups in the Cheshire East Area.
Our guided walks are usually from 4 to 12 miles. Long walks are a full day out with stops for coffee/tea and a chance to eat your packed lunch. Suitable walking boots/shoes, warm and waterproof clothing, a rucksack, picnic lunch and drinks are all you need for the longer walks. The shorter more leisurely evening walks are available during the summer months and sometimes walks during the day with the option of a pub lunch.
In addition to our regular Group Walks we usually organise several additional events and holidays.
We welcome non-members to join us as guests on 2 or 3 walks, to see for yourself the enjoyment we get. If you wish to walk with us regularly, and we really hope you do, you will be expected to join the Ramblers
New members may choose to join an email mailing list to keep in touch.
